Valen
Valen is a little island, 3 km long and 0.5 km wide,
situated in Lake Hjälmaren, Sweden's fourth largest lake.
The nearest town is Arboga, a beautiful quiet place with
13,500 inhabitants and a very long history. The nearest
large towns are Örebro to the West and Västerås to the
East. Ryanair flies to Västerås and Örebro from Stansted. Lake
Hjälmaren is connected to Lake Mälaren by the Hjälmare
Canal
