Freshers Drinks with The Fires of Pompeii
It’s the first meeting of a new year, and that means Freshers Drinks! Come along to meet your fellow Whovians, and watch an episode that was strangely good at guessing future actors for the show, especially concerning a soon-to-be-gone Doctor. The Doctor takes new companion Donna to a major event of the past - the eruption of Vesuvius. Can Donna convince him to spare anyone from the tragedy?

For our second week, we dive back into Classic Who, with the most beloved story of the 1980s. The Fifth Doctor and Peri land on Androzani Minor, among a group of disgruntled miners. But, somewhere in the mines, in amongst the poisonous Spectrox, lies a villain determined to wrestle control of "the most powerful substance in the world" from a corrupt government. Can Five save his new companion from the clutches of Sharaz Jek?

The Three Doctors
What better episode for third week than The Three Doctors? When Gallifrey is affected by a mysterious power drain, the Time Lords call upon the Doctor to help- but not just one, all three! It features the holy trinity of UNIT-era Who - bickering, bad science, and the Brigadier. It’s a great watch, especially as we change to the 13th Doctor, to see how the character can change, no matter who plays the role.
