What does the Spreadsheets module cover?

This module is aimed at individuals who need to use any of the widely available spreadsheet packages to manipulate and analyse data for use in reports. The content covers editing, data handling, functions, analysis and macros, and includes:

Sorting and querying data
using advanced query/filter options to produce reports
Displaying data
using advanced options to create and manage graphs and charts
Using advanced functions
including date and time, mathematical, statistical, financial and logical
Performing analyses
including creating pivot tables to cross-tabulate data and creating named scenarios from defined cell ranges
Auditing data
including tracing and displaying precedent cells and displaying all formulas
Creating macros
to automate frequently used processes to raise productivity and ensure consistency

Advanced ECDL Spreadsheets at OUCS

OUCS will send your employees courseware in advance, enabling them to prepare for the intensive training/testing day by working through practice exercises (using example computer files).

They will sit two practice exams on the training/testing day, assisted by OUCS trainers who will work through any issues with them before they take the actual examination.
