What is the Advanced ECDL?
The Advanced European Computer Driving Licence develops your employees from basic computer users into experts, so that they can exploit fully the features of widely used software applications to raise productivity.
The Advanced version is ideal for employees who have obtained the original European Computer Driving Licence or who have achieved an equivalent level of competence through practical experience.
Who created the ECDL?
The ECDL is governed and licensed worldwide by the ECDL Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation formed by some of the world's leading computer societies. For more information, visit www.ecdl.com. Over 4 million individuals have participated in ECDL programmes worldwide.
Oxford University Computing Services is licensed to provide ECDL training by the British Computer Society, which oversees ECDL programmes in the United Kingdom.
What does the Advanced ECDL cover?
The Advanced ECDL comprises four standalone modules, each covering a specific type of software application. Individuals may study one module, several or all four, according to their individual needs.
